As Vice-President of Operations for Myshak Crane & Rigging, Kevin Weiberg knows quite well the benefits of operating a company in the Fulton Industrial Park in Rocky View County.
In fact, he’s now running two businesses there as the Myshak Group have expanded their Fulton operations to include a division of their Energy Wind & Renewables business.
Energy Wind & Renewables is a full-service wind turbine installation company and Myshak Crane & Rigging is a crane services company. “We operate both businesses out of our facility and yard there and there is opportunity for expansion if we need it” says Weiberg.
Myshak relocated their Calgary operations to the Fulton Industrial area in 2015 and their Energy Wind & Renewables business moved last fall. They are currently operating from a 30,000 sq.ft. facility on about thirteen acres with room for expansion.
“There are lots of benefits to this location, like efficient access routes into and around the City plus the costs and property taxes are a huge operating advantage” adds Weiberg. “It feels remote the first few times you drive out, but the reality is it’s only about 10 minutes away from anywhere in south east Calgary”.
“We’re into growth. We’re not restricted. We have land around us if we need to expand our yard. We have room to grow without having to pick up and move again."
